Please read first — this tool is heavy: The first time you use it, your browser downloads an AI model (about 30–80 MB) from a code library, so the first run needs good internet and can take a minute or two. After that the model is cached and later runs are faster. It works best on a computer. On a weak phone it may be slow or run out of memory — if that happens, try a smaller photo. Your photo itself is never uploaded to a server: the model runs in your browser only. Results are not perfect for every photo — hair, transparent objects and very busy backgrounds are the hardest cases. This tool does not guarantee a perfect cut-out.

Tip: For the fastest result, use a photo where the main subject is clear and in the centre. Very large photos are resized to a maximum of 1024 pixels on the longest side before processing, to save memory and time.

How to use it

1. Upload a photo. 2. Click “Remove Background — 1 Click”. 3. Wait for the model to download on the first run, then for processing to finish. Do not close the page while it is working. 4. Check the result in the preview. 5. Download the transparent PNG, or the white-background version if you need it for a form or a print.

Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded anywhere? No. The AI model runs in your browser. Only the model code files are downloaded from a library server on the first run — your photo is not sent to that server or to any other server.

Why is the first run slow? Because the browser has to download the AI model (about 30–80 MB) the first time. Later runs use the cached model and are much faster.

Why did it fail on my phone? Most likely the photo was too large, the internet was slow, or the phone ran out of memory for the AI model. Try a smaller photo, close other apps, use Wi-Fi, or try on a computer.

Will the result always be perfect? No. Clear subjects on a simple background work best. Fine hair, glasses, transparent objects and busy backgrounds can leave rough edges. If the result is not good enough, try a clearer photo with a simpler background.
